Heather Jones
Biography

Heather Jones is an independent curator, co-founder and Editor of Contemporary Art Stavanger (CAS). She previously served as Assistant Curator at Kunsthall Stavanger, Exhibitions Manager at Independent Curators International (ICI), New York, a Master Apprentice at the studio of Sol Lewitt and Studio Manager for the artist Swoon. She was the recipient of a 2014 Curatorial Fellowship from the Stavanger Municipality Culture Department. Recent projects include: Jessica Warboys: Topo Scenic in collaboration with Tate St. Ives, Renate Müller: 50 Years of Toys and Design, Ode to a Dishrag, Hymn to a Tiger (Ode til en vaskeklut, hymne til en tiger) in collaboration with the Norwegian Association of Textile Artists, a retrospective of Judith Bernstein, and the performance Judder Shudder: Act II with Jonathan Baldock and Florence Peake, all at Kunsthall Stavanger, Norway. Jones holds an MA in Curatorial Studies from Stockholm University and a certificate in Architectural History and Theory from the Royal Institute of Art, Stockholm.
