Karin Sunderø
Biography
Karin Sunderø is director of Sunderø Art Gallery (www.sundero-gallery.com). She is also an independent curator and writer of art texts, curator of TAP – The Art Project (an artist exchange program between Stavanger and Nablus), and curator of Gosen School´s art collection and contemporary art project Young Platform.
As a freelance curator she is currently planning The Tall Ships Races 2018 art exhibition in Stavanger. She was head of production for Pasjon (Stavanger´s medieval festival) between 2015 – 2017, and coordinator of the Constitutional Jubilee of Stavanger in 2014.  Sunderø was deputy of Bryne Art Association 2013 -2016 and director between 2005-2013. She was also board member of Rogaland County Art Society between 2000-2004, and director of Sauda Art Society between 1981-1998. Sunderø holds her MA in Creative Curatorial Practice from KhiB, a BA in Arts and Science from UiB, and has studied curatorial work at Telemark University College.
