Mari F. Sundet (b. 1981) is a Oslo based art historian, working as a curator at Vestfossen Kunstlaboratorium (VKL). VKL is a contemporary art center situated an hour outside of Oslo in an old cellulose factory. The art center covers 2500 m2 containing four different exhibition venues and a quest studio. Sundet’s recent projects include Tech 4 Change (2015, works from Statoil Art Collection); Back to Basics (2014, with artists Anders Eiebakke, Britta Thie, Sandra Mujinga, Sissel Blystad, Tiril Hasselknippe, Lars Paalgard, Bjørn Ransve); Jørgen Dobloug. Punktum. Punktum. Komma, strek – å male er en lystig lek (2014); Jack Helgesen Family Collection / Archeology of the Image (2012), among others. Sundet is currently working on a publication about the Norwegian painter Jørgen Dobloug, in continuation of the 2014 exhibition, as well as developing future public programs, publications and exhibitions at VKL.
