Carl Martin Rosenkilde Faurby has worked with contemporary art as a curator, writer and leader for the past 15 years with a particular focus on challenging institutional mindsets, collaborations across disciplines and social justice. His starting point is an ecological mindset where art is part of an ecology of social practices that form the framework for more sustainable communities. He is deeply concerned about mental health and burnout in the cultural sector.
Carl Martin is the Director of Trøndelag Center for Contemporary Art and is a board member of Balansekunst – National association for equality, Dansit choreographic center, and Trondheim Kino AS.
