Gunhild Moe has been based in the rural community of Suldal in Ryfylke since 2009. Moe founded and operated the artist residency Lukkeskåra/Rådlausjuvet (L/R) on a remote farm in Suldal from 2011 to 2018. Moe has since 2012 been the coordinator and co-curator for the project Liv på Nes, the first large scale New Patrons project in Norway, in collaboration with ArtConnexion (Lille, France) and Rogaland Kunstsenter. She was one of the founders of the gallery space Studio 17 in Stavanger and has curated exhibitions at Rogaland Kunstsenter and Stavanger Kunstforening. In 2017 she was the norwegian curator for the biennale Momentum 9. Moe is also an art consultant and has worked with clients such as Deloitte and ConocoPhillips. She owns and operates the design hotel Energihotellet in Nesflaten, Suldal where she has also established a design and architecture library. Her education includes curatorial studies at the Bergen Academy of Art and Design, fine art at The Art Academy in Trondheim and art history at the Universtity of Edinburgh.
