Øyvind Rongevær Kvarme (b.1989) is an art historian, writer, critic, and curator based in Trondheim, Norway. He earned his MA in Art History at Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), where his art historical research centred around the remediation of art. How audiences engage and become co-creators in a work of art and its history – which also is his interests as a writer and critic. Currently he is working at Trondheim kunstmuseum with
communication, education, and project coordination. He is also on the board of The Norwegian Association of Art Societies (Norske Kunstforeninger, NKF) and have led the jury of NKFs Debutantpris (2018-2020).
